Banner Self-Service: Photo ID Class Roster Updated

ITS has recently worked with the ID Office to enable the display of all current ID photos within Banner Self-Service Faculty & Advisors. In addition to the standard "Detail Class List" and "Summary Class List", ITS has added a link for "Photo ID Class Roster", which will display your class list and include the photo ID of each student in the class, if an image is available.

To access the "Photo ID Class Roster":
  • Log in to Banner Self-Service.
  • Click on "Faculty Services."
  • Click on "Photo ID Class Roster."
  • Choose the term (e.g., "Spring 2013").
  • Choose the course for which you would like to see the class roster.

Did you know that you can contact Hardware Support yourself?  Every College owned computer should be purchased with a 3 year manufacturers warranty.  While Client Services is here to assist, you can also skip the middle man and contact your hardware manufacturer directly.  Here are the links to the hardware manufacturers that we use most regularly at Manhattan College:

Airplay Pilot



Starting in Spring 2013 ITS has deployed AirPlay devices in select rooms on campus. AirPlay is a technology which allows you to establish a wireless connection between an AirPlay enabled device and a projector.

Rooms that have AirPlay devices installed:
  • DLS 205
  • DLS 207
  • DLS 208
  • DLS 303
  • DLS 304
  • MGL 109
  • MGL 111
  • MGL 201
  • MGL 202
  • MGL 207
  • MGL 214

Devices currently supported by AirPlay:
  • iPad 2 or later
  • iPad mini
  • iPhone 4S
  • iPhone 5
  • iPod touch (5th generation)
  • iMac (Mid 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion
  • Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion
  • MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion
  • MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer) with Mountain Lion.

As always please make sure that your devices have the most up to date software for the best experience.

MyMC the New Default Home Page in all Computer Labs

If you opened up any of the browsers in any computer lab on campus today you may have noticed a refreshing change.  The default home page for all labs has changed to MyMC.

**Due to a limitation in Google Chrome, MyMC is not the default homepage if you open Google Chrome in the computer labs.

Client Services Hours of Operation

The Client Services Hours of Operation are:

Client Services North
Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m - 9:00 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Client Services South
Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Hours are dependent on Student Worker Availability.
