**UPDATE** Degree Works Upgrade - Responsive Dashboard is Complete

The Degree Works 5.1.1 (Responsive Dashboard) Upgrade has been completed on schedule.

Dear Colleagues,

A planned upgrade to Degree Works version 5.1.1 (Responsive Dashboard) is scheduled to begin on May 26th at 9:00 pm.

Please know that Degree Works production will be offline between May 26th (9:00 pm) through May 29th (12:00 pm).

Once this upgrade is completed, the Degree Works Classic version will no longer be available.

Degreeworks (New Dashboard)
Degreeworks (Old Dashboard)
Scribe
Transit (Registrar)
Controller (Registrar)
Banner Document Management
Enterprise Reporting (Argos)
Communication Management

Authentication services, Email, Moodle, and Remotely will not be affected.

Degree Works Upgrade - May 30th-31st

On May 30th - 31st, Information Technology Services will be upgrading Degree Works.  During this time, Degree Works will not be available.  Thank you for your patience.

8/11/2017: Upgrading DegreeWorks Production to 5.0.0

Starting at 9:00 AM today, 8/11/2017, ITS will be performing an upgrade on the production DegreeWorks environment. The upgrade requires a database upgrade, as well as, moving through several point releases with the DegreeWorks product. The maintenance is expected to take several hours and the production environment will be down for the entire maintenance window. We will update this blog post as we have more information on the progress and status of the upgrade.

The upgrade is complete. DegreeWorks should be fully accessible.

COMPLETED - Emergency system maintenance late Thursday evening (after 1:00 AM) into Friday

Please be advised, ITS will be performing emergency system maintenance late in the evening this Thursday into Friday, 3/3/2017 after 1:00 AM. The system maintenance will temporarily affect a number of vital services. The affected services include:

• Self-service Banner
• Sign Sign On (SSO) for Banner
• Verify and POS stations (the One Card Database will be down temporarily)
• Evisions
• DegreeWorks
• Paypal transactions

Services should be restored within 2 hours of the start of the interruption.

Degreeworks Update

ITS has been working to repair an issue with the Degreeworks system that caused the system to be offline for significant periods between 4/19-/20 and periodically since 4/11.  ITS has been working directly with the Degreeworks vendor to troubleshoot the issue.  The Degreeworks system became AVAILABLE at approximately 7:00PM on 4/20.  ITS is continuing work with the Degreeworks vendor and will be closely monitoring the system over the next 48-hours.  We expect that the system will be made unavailable for short durations during this time in order to apply a permanent fix to the issues experienced since 4/11.
