Update 06/28/25 08:24:52: Maintenance has been completed

To enhance network reliability and stability across campus, ITS will be performing critical upgrades to network infrastructure on Saturday, June 28th, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This maintenance will impact both wired and wireless connectivity across campus buildings.

During the upgrade window, network access in buildings will be temporarily unavailable. To minimize disruption, maintenance will be conducted sequentially, one building at a time. The expected downtime for each building ranges from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the complexity of the required updates.

Campus-wide Network Maintenace - 1/18 - 6am to 7am (Completed)

UPDATE: This maintenance has been completed as of 6:55AM

ITS will be conducting network maintenance on our internet service equipment. This maintenance will allow for a smoother browsing and routing experience on campus. This maintenance will occur on Saturday, January 18th, which will cause sporadic network degradation and outages between 12am and 1am. You can expect interruptions in the following services:

• Phone Access
• VPN Access

Planned Network Maintenance - Kelly Commons - 10/19 - 6am to 8am (Completed)

UPDATE: This Maintenance has been completed as of 7:04AM

ITS will be conducting network maintenance in Kelly Commons on Saturday, October 19th, which will cause some localized network outages between 6am to 8am.

To improve network reliability, there will be scheduled network maintenance to replace some network equipment. This network maintenance will affect the wired and wireless networks in Kelly Commons.

Campus-Wide Wifi Upgrade - 5/21/2024 - 12am-4am

UPDATE: This Maintenance has been completed as of 3:15AM

To maintain a safe, secure, and reliable wireless network, ITS will be upgrading the core equipment of our wireless infrastructure. This maintenance will occur on May 21st between 12am and 4am. This maintenance will cause sporadic outages during the duration of the maintenance period and will affect devices that generally connect to the wireless network, including Kramer devices in classrooms. This maintenance will not affect the wired networks across campus.

In order to improve network reliability and stability throughout campus, ITS will be conducting upgrades on network equipment on Saturday, February 3rd and 10th from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. These upgrades will cause local outages in certain areas on campus. This network maintenance will affect both wired and wireless networks.

The upgrade schedule is as follows:

Feb 3rd (02/03): Lee, Horan, Leo + GPAC, RLC, Kelly, Physical Plant, Higgins

Feb 10th (02/10): DLS, Memorial, Library, Miguel, Draddy, Jasper, Chyrsostom, Hayden + Broadway Garage, Thomas + Smith

Please note that during this time wired and wireless networks in these buildings will be temporarily unavailable. To minimize disruptions, each building will be taken down one at a time. The downtime for each building is expected to last between 20 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the extent of updates required for each specific building.

RESOLVED -- Network Outage: Draddy Gymnasium and Alumni Hall 2024-01-25

UPDATE: We have resolved this issue as of 4:00PM.

We are currently investigating a network incident impacting network availability in both Draddy Gymnasium and Alumni Hall. JasperNet wireless network availability is not impacted. We will post updates as we have them.

Networking engineering is swapping in working equipment as a temporary solution. We expect connections in Hayden to start coming back in line at approximately 11:am.

Due to an equipment power failure, our network equipment will be taken offline, which is causing network outages throughout Hayden, Miguel and Memorial These outages will continue to happen for the foreseeable future. We will keep you updated with any news.

Miguel Network Outage - 7/25/2023

UPDATE (7/26 - 12pm):  Power has been restored to our network equipment and WIFI and wired network service has been restored. Please reach out via the mediums below if you are still experiencing a network service outage.

UPDATE: The Network outage was caused by a power outage in one of our network closets. Physical Plant is currently working on restoring power.

We are currently investigating a partial network outage in Miguel Hall. both wired and wireless connectivity are affected. We will post updates once more is known.

DLS Network Outage - 7/5

UPDATE 7/17: Construction affecting the network has been completed as of 7/14. If you are still experiencing network issues, please reach out using the channels below.

UPDATE 7/7: This downtime is expected to be resolved by Monday, July, 17th. This may change if any complications occur

Due to construction being conducted on the 3rd Floor of De La Salle Hall, our network equipment will be taken offline, which is causing network outages throughout the building. These outages will continue to happen for the foreseeable future. We will keep you updated with any news we receive.

ITS are planning to upgrade network infrastructure in Memorial Hall next Thursday, 5/25 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM. 

During the maintenance window, some network services in Memorial Hall, including internet access, scanning, and printing, may be unavailable.

Horan Network Outage - 3/23/2023

8:19PM: The Power issue has been resolved and all network connectivity has been resolved.

5:31PM: The Network outage seems to have been caused by a building-wide power outage. This issue is currently being worked on and is expected to be resolved within the hour.

We are currently investigating a network outage that is affecting Horan Hall. Wired and Wireless services in this building will be affected.
