Classroom Training Week of January 6, 2025

 All Faculty are encouraged to take advantage of Classroom Training that is offered the week of January 6, 2025 to re-familiarize yourself with the technology in your classrooms. To schedule training, simply 

email its@manhattan.edu or fill out this form with your availability the week of January 6, 2025 as well as which classrooms you will be teaching in. We will assign one of our trainers to meet with you to review the technology. If you prefer, here are the knowledge articles for the classroom technology that you can review at your own pace. It is recommended that you check out your classroom prior to your first class to ensure that you are comfortable with its operation. If you are unavailable the week of January 6, 2025 we can meet you at another time. Just keep in mind that once the semester starts, accessing classrooms becomes more difficult since classes are in session.

Outage Affecting VPN & Logging Into Computers in Computer Labs, Classrooms, & Remotely

Update 3/25/24 10:39AM:

The outage has been resolved. Affected services are back up and running.


ITS is aware of an outage currently affecting logging into computers in computer labs, classrooms, and Remotely. This same outage is also affecting VPN access. We will send another notification when we have more information.

Multi Head to be Replaced by HDMI and HDMI to USB-C Adapter

In our continued effort to provide the best value experience, as multi head cables are retired, they will be replaced with an HDMI cable paired with a USB-C to HDMI adapter.

Adapters in VGA Classrooms

Starting this weekend ITS will be placing HDMI to VGA & USB-C to VGA adapters in all classrooms that have VGA cables installed for laptop connections. Adapters should be in all identified classrooms by the end of March 2023.

Spring 2023 Classroom Technology Training Signup

ITS will be offering classroom technology training sessions from January 9th-17th.

The trainings will take place on campus with a member of the ITS technology training team.

The trainings will review the podium guides and basic troubleshooting for the technology in the classrooms. If possible, when signing up for a session, please include the classroom building and number you will be teaching in during the Spring. Please note some classrooms are different than others so the training will be specific to the type of classroom you are teaching in.

ITS will also be offering training the first and second week of classes from January 18th to the 27th. Please email sleavey01@manhattan.edu to schedule a time to review the classroom technology during that time. These meetings are based upon room availability once classes begin.

Fall 2021 Classroom Technology Training Sign Up

ITS will be offering classroom technology training sessions from August 23rd-August 27th. 

The trainings will take place on a campus with a member of the ITS technology training team. Up to 10 people will be able to sign up for a session. 

The trainings will review the podium guides and basic troubleshooting for the technology in the classrooms. If possible, when signing up for a session, please include the classroom building and number you will be teaching in during the Fall. Please note some classrooms are different than others so the trainings will be specific to the type of classroom you are teaching in.

    1. Here you can see the COVID capacity as well as the features in the room, which includes the types of technology in the classroom. This may be helpful if the room is unfamiliar to you.

Web Print (powered by PaperCut) is a web-based printing service that allows quick printing on campus from your own laptop to any public computer lab printer without the need to install any software. ITS has taken the initiative to implement Web Print in the following computer labs:

LEO - 102
OMAL - 1FL, 206, 410, 506, Kiosk
RLC - 102, 103, 104, 105, 107, 208

Google Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that can be used by students, professors and staff. It has a range of features from digital whiteboard to remote collaboration to video conferencing and more. ITS introduced them on campus during Summer of 2017 and they are currently located in:

Leo Student Study Space- (4 Jamboards available for use)
Leo Center for Academic Success
